TLP Alumni Association TLP AA - Science, Innovation and Technology Committee during the weekend (23-25 November, 2018) organized a three-day workshop called “Start from Scratch” that brought together more than 20 children from various primary schools of the Municipality of Prishtina and Fushe Kosova with the ultimate goal of engaging and presenting them with relevant information in the field of information technology - IT.
In this workshop instructors introduced and taught:
a)Basic concepts of programming,
b)Latest trends of the technology industry such as 3D printing,
c)Encouraged participants to see Information Technology, programming as an option for their career choice.
The workshop would not be possible without the energy, time, skills, effort and cooperation in voluntarily basis from the all members of TLP AA Committee of Science, Innovation and Technology especially Arianit Pajaziti, Filloreta Jusufi, Getoar B. Krasniqi, Majlinda Ruhani, Arta Bytyqiand Lumbardh Agaj that lead this workshop in cooperation with Shkolla Digjitale and elementary schools of Prishtina and Fushe Kosova.
Today there are many new professions created in the information technology sector, so we consider that by creating the space and opportunity to the information for the children from an early age, we can help them to pursue their talent in this area in the future.
